Ramen-yah : Affordable Japanese Resto in Iligan

1:51:00 AM

Ramen-yah is the go to resto for Japanese food lovers looking for affordability and value. Located in Tambo, Highway, Ramen-yah with its no frills, minimalist interior, will surely satisfy your craving with its variety of hot ramen, bento and sushi.

There must be something about the ambience that makes people talk in hushed tones. Even with several tables occupied, the place is surprisingly quiet. This is a perfect venue to have a long lunch with your friends where you can talk to each other without raising your voice.

There are plenty of choices in the menu but I lean towards Pork Tantanem  ( Php 199 ) which traces its origin from Sichuan cuisine. It consists of spicy sauce with preserved vegetables, chili oil, pepper and minced oil over noodles.

Here's another favorite, the Mango Sushi and  since I like my tea sans sugar,  their Mugica ( Barley Tea ) is also a good choice for me.

Check out a  few of their offerings below.

For Dessert, they have this Pandan flavored leche flan. This is the first time I saw bottled leche flan in pandan flavor.   It's a little too sweet for my taste but then its a matter of preference.
